Making a petticoat
Monday, April 28th, 2008

I’ve wanted this Waif for years, she is so incredibly rare. Thanks Dani for letting me have her. I can’t wait to have some more time to make her clothes.

Yay it’s finally done! Migrating the blog was a nightmare. I know nothing about php and thought if I just copied the blog directory as it was it would work fine, however I had to export the database too and import it on the new host. Luckily, customer service was amazing and helpd me a lot – on the new host that is, cause on the previous, it’s the reason I left.
So, now the website should work perfectly for everyone, me included. I can make proper updates and blog posts. :)

This kenner belongs to Adrian from Spain. She was so yellow sanding was not going to help her. Anai-san did a fantastic job painting her face. I will give her a sidepart brunette mohair reroot!

At the shop!

I thought mine was in bad condition, but this was the worst. All her stuffing had gone rock hard and the cloth was extremely dry and tore with the slightest pull. Her wires were distorted and broken, the hair extremely frizzy and the seller had tried to fix with a ton of silicone.

I took out all the stuffing and replaced it with new soft and lighter stuffing. It was really hard doing this without tearing the body completely apart.
