Summery Momoko

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Beautiful! Gotta love hime cuts on Momoko. I only wish the tanned one had a nicer lipshape, but I’ll definitely buy her anyway.

How much happiness fits in a box?

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

I got an amazing package from Natsuko today. ^_____^ Just look at all these treasures.

She sent me 3 Shirley Temple dolls and their anniversary book. They’re one of my most favourite fashion brands –

And also Kei-chan, Noko-chan and Sat-chan. I just about died. I love the Chi-chan series so much.

I have no idea who the bigger doll is though. Her body is coincidentally (or is it?) the same with the Shirley dolls.

CCS Momoko

Petworks sure has kept busy with all those amazing Momokos coming out all at once! I wish I could attend the Momoko7 event.

The theme is “The wonderful wizard of Oz – Over the rainbow” and look what they came up with! These will be sold as a pack of seven. I’m just dying for the yellow one.

Amazing find!

Friday, July 11th, 2008

I found this Chi-chan head on ebay, of all places! Chi-chan has never been made with those eyes, haircolour or hairstyle so I got really excited. The seller had more Leggy-like heads mounted on those weird wires, that have a plug at the top and a made in Hong Kong tag. I really can’t imagine what this could be. At first I thought maybe a production sample? But why the tag? Maybe it was sold at craft stores for whatever you wanted to do with it?

When it arrived I had an even bigger surprise. It’s tiny!

I love sparkly and shiny outfits on vintage Licca. It was done quite a lot in her original fashions that i love so much. I need more gold and silver trim in many styles. The dress on the left was incredibly hard to make as it’s all silk chiffon and organza. Thanks a million Ruth for the wonderful Pucci-style fabric!

I realise I need more brightly coloured fabrics. Licca and friends look their best in them. Well, I’m keeping it in mind for my next trip to Tokyo.
