Ayumi Uyama is a wonderful doll artist from Japan with a big love for Pose dolls from the 60s. She collects them and makes them herself with great skill. She also creates wonderful retro looking felt plushies and other toys.

She has published many books with patterns and photographs and has a couple pages on every issue of Dolly Dolly, featuring her handmade pose doll heads on obitsu bodies.

She was the designer of the two Oyalle Style dolls released by Takara - pose style dolls but made of vinyl.

In 2007 she also had en exhibition at Gallery Lele, photos of which you can see here.
