Saki Yamashita, aka Cherry Merry from Kobe, Japan, is hands down one of the most talented people I have ever met. She was one of the first (probably the very first) to publish Blythe customization and restoration tutorials back in the day and has also been creating the most wonderful, perfectly finished, flawless clothing for Blythe and other dolls. She makes plastic buttons, buckles, eyechips and other tiny, incredibly detailed items, and has created her own plush bunny Usaron and friends, that she makes from scratch, including the vinyl face. Her amazing skills can also give a superior Blythe such kenner likeness you really can't tell the difference with a kenner.

Her work has been featured in various CWC run events and Dolly Dolly magazine, as well as an exhibition entitled "Welcome to Dreamy World" in Gallery Lele. You can se photos from the exhibition here:

I had the chance to meet her in person summer of 2007 in Tokyo and she is the cutest, sweetest and kindest little girl. She, in fact, was the one to announce my team's name at the Blythe Beauty Contest, which made ithe experience even more amazing. I love her, and I'm very lucky to have her as a friend.
